MODERN-DAY SLAVERY INFORMATION PANEL

Do you know what Modern-Day Slavery is?  Do you know it exists right here in Contra Costa County?  Do you know how to stop it?  Soroptimist International of Diablo Vista is hosting a Modern-Day Slavery Information Panel on October 30 at 6:00 pm at the church hall of Queen of All Saints, 2390 Grant St., Concord.  Speakers are a team of experts:  Mark Peterson, District Attorney of Contra Costa County, Sister Caritas Foster, a member of the Holy Family order and an expert on Modern-Day Slavery, and Cynthia Peterson of Commercially Sexually Exploited Youth.  This is an issue in our county and we can learn more about it.  Join us!  For more information contact Carlyn Obringer (925) 324-9595.
