Soroptimist International of Diablo Vista is hosting a Modern-Day Slavery Information Panel on October 30 at 6:00 pm at the church hall of Queen of All Saints, 2390 Grant St., Concord. Speakers are a team of experts: Mark Peterson, District Attorney of Contra Costa County, Sister Caritas Foster, a member of the Holy Family order and an expert on Modern-Day Slavery, and Cynthia Peterson of Commercially Sexually Exploited Youth.
