Serving Our Wounded Warriors

• The Military
  Family Support Group will host a discussion with Major Angela Joseph-Gaffke from
  the Delta CO. 3rd Battalion, 85th Mountain Infantry Community
  Based Wounded Warriors Transition Unit located in Concord.  Joining the discussion will be Eloise Newell, Director
  of the West Concord Vocational and Restoration Pilot Project for Veterans with
  PTSD and TBI and Captain Steve Kirk of Carlisle, a Volunteer Leader of Recreational
  Therapy Groups for veterans.  This
  educational offering will address both the post deployment challenges faced by our
  wounded warriors and the local resources that are actively engaged in their recovery.  The program is free of charge and open to veterans,
  their families and interested citizens.

  The
Military Family Support Group is a forum of mutual support and education for
families and friends with deployed loved ones and recent veterans.  The group meets the third Tuesday of the
month at the West Concord Union Church located at 1317 Main St. West Concord,
