Join us as Riverfest 2014, a weekend of celebrating our Wild and Scenic Rivers draws to an end!
Celebrate the arrival of Summer with Musketaquid and OARS along the Assabet, Sudbury and Concord Rivers.
- The evening begins at 6:30 pm with a picnic on the grounds of the Old Manse. Bring food, drink, and a blanket, and relax while listening to music performed by Snow Crow and taking in an incomparable view.
- An illuminated flotilla at the Old North Bridge with Voices for the Earth at 8 pm. Put-in and take-out at the Lowell Road bridge or at the Old Manse. For canoe rental, call South Bridge Boat house (978-371-2465) for a Solstice group rate.
- Join a Drum, Dance, and S'mores Solstice Fire in the Old Manse back lawn at 8 pm.
All are welcome to come for the picnic, the music, the flotilla or all three. And everyone is encouraged to bring a candle lantern. Directions to make a candle lantern.
