Concord Charity Group Holding Fundraiser

The Concord-Carlisle Community Chest distributes more than $500,000 each year to local human services organizations.

The following is a news release from the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest:

The Concord-Carlisle Community Chest will host its biennial fundraising party on Friday, April 4 at 7:00pm at the deCordova Museum in Lincoln, MA.  Funds raised will support the organization’s mission to strengthen the communities of Concord and Carlisle by marshaling resources to support those in need.

This year’s event will feature open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, live and silent auction, and music and dancing to the sounds of The Marsels.  Attire is spring cocktail.  Tickets are $150 per person.

“The party will be a great way to kick off spring and re-connect with friends after a long winter,” said auction chair Laura Davidian.  “We are thrilled to host it at the beautiful deCordova Museum, and expect tickets to sell out.  We greatly appreciate the support of our community for this important fundraiser. We are looking forward to a fun evening!”

The Community Chest is currently in the midst of its annual campaign, which ends early this year on April 30.  This year’s process for allocating funds to more than 30 organizations that support Concord and Carlisle is already underway, with a volunteer group of 32 Concord and Carlisle residents evaluating $630,000 in requests for funding.
