Patriots Thanksgiving Football Preview
Five things you need to know about the annual rivalry game between the Concord-Carlisle Patriots and Bedford Buccaneers.
1. Home Field Advantage: The annual Thanksgiving matchup between the Patriots and the Buccaneers of Bedford will take place at Concord-Carlisle High School at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28. Tickets are available at the gate for $8.
2. A Winning Record for the Patriots: Concord-Carlisle comes into the game with a 7-3 record.
3. And a Winning Record for the Bucs: Bedford High comes into the contest with an impressive 8-2 record, and the title of Div. 4 North Sectional champions. However, the Bucs did sustain a tough loss to Dennis-Yarmouth in the Division 4 Eastern Mass final last weekend.

4. Avenging Last Year's Overtime Loss: CC and Bedford have split the last two meetings in their Turkey Day rivalry, with the Bucs eking out a 35-34 win in an overtime thriller. The Patriots, who defeated the Bucs 8-7 earlier this season, will look to avenge last year's loss and end their season on a high note.
