When Does School Close for Christmas/Winter Vacation in Concord

Concord students are in for a long winter's break.

Talk about the 12 Days of Christmas

That's how many days (including weekends) the students of the Concord Public Schools and Concord-Carlisle Regional School District will have off for Christmas/winter vacation.

With Christmas on a Wednesday, the last day of school for Concord's public school students will be Friday, Dec. 20, according to the district's calendar. They’ll then return to school after the New Year, on Thursday, Jan. 2.

The boys at Fenn School will have the same break, as will the Nasbhoa Brook School's students. At Middlesex School, winter break begins Dec. 20, but classes won't resume until Jan. 6

Do you think students should be in school on Monday, Dec. 23? Or does it make sense to give them the whole week off? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.

No, students should not have to go to school on Dec. 23rd. That gives families time to prepare and travel for the Holiday.
