A winning move! Working with HGRM.....

We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Household Goods Recycling of Massachusetts (HGRM). In operation since 1990, HGRM is an Acton agency making a difference in people’s lives by accepting and distributing donated household goods free of charge to those in need.  Each year 800 volunteers work with over 300 social agencies to help almost 3,000 families rebuild their homes and start their lives over.

As realtors who work every day helping people find homes, we understand that everyone deserves a comfortable, furnished place of their own.  We are grateful to the wonderful communities we serve and want to help those less fortunate.  As our buyers and sellers transition between homes, we are promoting HGRM as the place where their unneeded furnishings and home items will be put to good use.  We will be holding online drives to our network of Concord/Acton/Carlisle residents to help collect small but vital items of immediate need at HGRM. We began a drive yesterday collecting clean used towels.  Drop towels off at our office at 199 Sudbury Road (in front of Crosby's) and we will deliver them to HGRM where they are in demand daily!

Most importantly, we established an “Our Family Supports Your Family” donation:

When we list a home for sale, we will make a one time honorary donation to HGRM in the seller’s name upon closing – a donation equivalent to the value of goods HGRM provides when outfitting an entire household.

Selling your home with Mendosa-Balboni Fine Properties will directly and positively impact another family’s home life.  It’s a winning move for everyone!
