Colton Raithel's "More Than Acting" (2014) Nails the Importance of Youth Theatre: Concord Youth Theatre Focus Group of Documentary

If you haven't already seen this - you MUST!  Filmmaker Colton Raithel did an amazing feature on youth theater, truly capturing what it's all about!  PLEASE consider sharing this via your own contacts, colleagues, parents, etc., to help reach out to as many people as we can. With SO much cutting of arts/theatricals nationwide, we must do what we can to raise awareness.  It's things like this short film that will help people see that involving kids in the arts is more than just "Look, Mom! I'm onstage!" It goes so much deeper than that developmentally, emotionally, physically, intellectually, socially, academically - as CYT Artistic Director Lisa Evans says in the film - you cannot sum it up in just one word!
