Welcome to Concord Patch

New, interactive online site for news and information about Concord

An energetic welcome to Concord Patch, your site for news, sports, entertainment, business and all things Concord!

This site will be updated frequently so you won't miss an event or the latest news. Please check in daily, and even bookmark the site on your desktop.

We want the site to be interactive too, so please add your own announcements, photos, listings and events as well.

The site will become your first stop to find out what's really going on in town. We'll be updating the site throughout the day with breaking news, the latest on the issues and interesting stories about the people of Concord.

As the editor, you'll start to see me around town getting an up-close view of what's happening. You'll also see my team of freelancers at events, games and meetings, adding to the top-notch reporting on concord.patch.com. When you see us at the Board of Selectmen meetings or town events, come over and say hello.

Aside from daily news coverage, Concord Patch is a true community resource. Our directory provides information about every business in town, complete with photos, facts, phone numbers and addresses. The directory also includes civic organizations, religious institutions, schools and important officials.

We want Patch to become a real online community, so we ask that you upload your videos and photos to go along with our reporting. If you have something to say about a story, sign up for a free account and join the discussion. You can also add your events to the site, so everyone in town will know about them. You can even send us announcements of births, weddings, school accolades and more.

We are excited to become part of the community, and we hope you're as excited to have us. Please let me know what you think of the site, so we can continue to evolve and give the people of Concord a reliable and relevant source for news.

We welcome your opinions on matters of interest to Concordians. Visit our site and add your letters and columns. That's what we are all about: a conversation and a place to share ideas and daily news.

Hi Betsey, I just viewed your nice video on Concord! Nice work! If you do not mind, I would like to bring out two more places that were not mentioned! That is 51 Walden, the home of the Concord Band, The Concord Orchestra, The Concord Players. Owned by the Town. Just across the street to the South you will find the Concord Scout House, that fetures square dances twice a week - I think they are Thrusday and Saturdays. People from miles around and I do mean miles some come from N.H. and Vermont if you can belive that. They always have a great live Music group. I like to go just to hear the music once in a while. There are many more attractions to Concord, but these two- at lease in my mind - are important to Concords attractiveness! Cheers! Bill Montague P.S. Keep up the great work!
