2 Arrests and a Few Car Breaks

Notable Incidents in Concord from Thursday, June 12, to Saturday, June 14

Saturday, June 14

5:36 p.m., A Powder Mill Road resident reported that a motorcyclist was going up and down the road at a high rate of speed. The motorcyclist was gone by the time police arrived.

12:56 p.m., Police were called to White Pond for a report of a possibly intoxicated male urinating on a dumpster. Police were unable to locate the male.

11:33 a.m., Elioenay M. Almeida, 25, of Central Avenue, Burlington, was pulled over on the Concord Turnpike East, arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operation of a motor vehicle with registration suspended/revoked and having an uninsured motor vehicle. Almeida also had a warrant.

Friday, June 13

9:57 p.m., Daniel A. Kostyk, 57, of Kewadin Road, Waban, was pulled over on the Concord Turnpike East, arrested and charged with operating under the influence and a marked lanes violation.

6:27 p.m., A caller reported that a customer at the Exxon station on Route 2 East appeared to be falling asleep while filling up. Police could not locate the sleepy driver.

4:39 p.m., A Hawthorne Lane resident reported someone stole two laptops from his vehicle.

8:25 a.m., A Cambridge Turnpike resident reported someone smashed her car windows.

7:15 a.m., A Mildred Circle resident reported that someone smashed his car window and stole his briefcase, wallet, passport and two iPads.

12:11 a.m., A driver reported that he struck a deer on Route 2 West.

Thursday, June 12

6:35 p.m., A caller reported that a car on Wright Farm Road was pulling two females on skateboards. Police gave the driver and skateboarders a verbal warning.
