Caller: Group of Bicyclists Hinder Traffic on Lowell Road

The following are excerpts from the Concord police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wed., May 7

  • 9:51 a.m. Police issued a citation to a driver for speeding on Main Street.
  • 4:09 p.m. There was a two-car crash on the Cambridge Turnpike near Hawthorne Lane. There were no injuries A driver from Ayer was issued a citation for failure to use care driving.
  • 4:40 p.m. Two vehicles were keyed in the Keyes Road municipal lot.
  • 5:29 p.m. A lost iPhone was found on Baker Avenue. Police returned it to its owner.
  • 6:21 p.m. A caller said a group of 20 bicyclists was causing traffic issues on Lowell Road. 
Thur., May 8
  • 10:12 a.m. A Heaths Bridge Road resident said someone stole her identity to set up a medical account with Tufts.
  • 8:21 p.m. Officers received a report from Lincoln police that they needed help with a domestic disturbance.
  • 9:12 p.m. A caller said there was a suspicious white Mercedes on Mitchell Road with an empty case of beer in the back seat.
