Alleged Drunk Driver Arrested on Sudbury Road

The following is an excerpt from the Concord Police Department's log: 

Monday, Feb. 3

  • At 2:40 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint at Emerson Hospital.
  • At 6:34 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Baker Avenue.
  • At 8:24 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Sudbury Road.
  • At 1:31 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Lexington Road.
  • At 2:06 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a mail truck on College Road.
  • At 3:04 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Lexington Road.
  • At 4:15 p.m., a Silver Hill Road woman called police to report that she returned home to find that her home had been burglarized. An administrative message was sent to the surrounding communities.
  • At 7:18 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Wright Road.
  • At 7:54 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Walden Street.

Tuesday, Feb. 4

  • At 8:59 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Bedford Street.
  • At 10:45 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Baker Avenue.
  • At 3:59 p.m., police responded to a report of a past larceny on Sudbury Road. Dominick M. Costanzo, of Boston, was arrested on charges of larceny over $250, uttering a false check and forgery of a check.
  • At 6:45 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Baker Avenue.

Wednesday, Feb. 5

  • At 12:47 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Main Street.
  • At 10:58 p.m., a motorist on Baker Avenue called police to report that he thought he may have struck a dog. A deceased coyote was located and moved off of the highway.
  • At 11:31 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Baker Avenue.

Thursday, Feb. 6

  • At 8:20 a.m., police received word that there was a bumper and a tailpipe in the middle of the road on Monument Street.
  • At 8:42 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Plainfield Road. Colleen A. Amaya, of 77 Grove St., Clinton, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
  • At 9:30 a.m., a man entered the police station to report a past assault.
  • At 11:13 a.m., a White Avenue woman called police to report hearing strange noises in her house. Police checked her house but didn't find anything.
  • At 5:04 p.m., police responded to a report of a loose dog on Channing Road.

Friday, Feb. 7

  • At 1:13 a.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Sudbury Road. Thomas J. Janovitz, of 10 Lewis St., Maynard, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
  • At 10:00 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Walden Street.
  • At 11:58 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Westford Road.
  • At 2:06 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Southfield Road.
  • At 4:03 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Bedford Street.
  • At 7:57 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Wright Road.

Saturday, Feb. 8

  • At 9:19 a.m., the owner of a farm stand on Wheeler Road called police to report that some products were taken without being paid for. Amy L. Ayers, of 25B Wycoma Ave., Waltham, will be charged with larceny under $250.
  • At 2:19 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Monument Farm Road. 
  • At 3:17 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Walden Street.

Sunday, Feb. 9

  • At 12:41 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Commonwealth Avenue.
  • At 1:40 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Forest Ridge Road.
