Concord Police Charge Holbrook Man With Fourth DUI

The following is an excerpt from the Concord Police Department's log: 


Monday, March 3

  • At 1:57 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Commonwealth Avenue.
  • At 8:04 a.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Commonwealth Avenue. Adam R. Engroff, of 14 Old Cambridge Turnpike, Lincoln, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • At 10:57 a.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Main Street. Meagan Riney, of 11 Ames Place, Marlborough, was arrested on charges of operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
  • At 12:35 p.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Old Road. Harton D. Kato, of 99 Linder St., Waltham, was arrested on charges of operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
  • At 11:23 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Old Road.

Tuesday, March 4

  • At 12:20 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Elm Street.
  • At 10:22 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Wood Street.
  • At 10:42 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Baker Avenue.
  • At 1:02 p.m., police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on Bedford Street.

Wednesday, March 5

  • At 2:44 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Main Street.
  • At 2:30 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident on Baker Avenue. Emily D. Canan, of 90 Mt. Vernon St., Arlington, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise.
  • At 9:23 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Lowell Road. 

Thursday, March 6:

  • At 11:50 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Main Street.
  • At 1:17 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Old Road.

Friday, March 7:

  • At 10:13 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Lowell Road.
  • At 12:28 p.m., police responded to a report of a past larceny on Harrington Avenue.
  • At 4:43 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Sudbury Road and Fitchburg Turnpike. Lawrence T. White, of 29 Durant Ave., Maynard, was arrested on a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Rodrigo Alves, of 47 Purinton St., Shrewsbury, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
  • At 10:35 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Riverside Avenue.

Saturday, March 8

  • At 7:51 a.m., an employee at Vanderhoof Hardware on Main Street called police to request a well-being check for a motorist who appeared to be in distress. Kevin R. Jackson, of 696 South St., Holbrook, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs, fourth offense, operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended for operating while under the influence of drugs, subsequent offense, operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended for operating while under the influence of drugs, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, illegally possessing a class A substance, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, refusing to identify himself and for reportedly having three outstanding warrants.
  • At 3:08 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Main Street.

Sunday, March 9

  • At 1:53 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Walden Street.
  • At 12:18 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Baker Avenue.
  • At 11:16 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Concord Turnpike.
