Elderly Concord Couple Missing After Overnight Fire

The three-alarm fire broke out on Nancy Road around 3 a.m. Friday morning.

Update: Fire officials are expected to issue a press release later today.

An elderly couple is said to be unaccounted for after a three-alarm fire swept through their Nancy Road home in Concord early Friday morning.

The fire started in the home around 3 a.m.

“We have two people unaccounted for. We believe they were in the building,” Concord Fire Chief Mark R. Cotreau told the Boston Globe.

Neighbors reportedly told a WCVB reporter that the couple was home Thursday night.

7News is streaming live from the scene on Nancy Road.

Fire officials have not yet determined what sparked the fire.
