Police Log: Loose Dogs, Accidents, Alarms and an OUI Arrest

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Jan. 30

12:52 a.m. – CVS Alarm Central reported a stockroom motion alarm at the CVS store on Sudbury Road. The responding officer reported the store checked secure.

6:14 a.m. – A call came in from the Thoreau School reporting a loose dog on the school grounds. The dog’s owner came and retrieved the dog, the incident report said.

7:44 a.m. – A 911 caller reported her motor vehicle became disabled with a flat tire on Elm Street near the Acton line.

8:14 a.m. – An employee from Concord Park reported place settings and a carousel were missing from an elderly resident’s room. Police responded to the scene.

9:23 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Cambridge Turnpike, a Malden woman received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding.

12:19 p.m. – Multiple calls came in reporting the railroad crossing gate was down at the Sudbury Road crossing.

4:04 p.m. – A man came into the station to drop off a handicapped placard that he found in the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot on Thoreau Street.

6:46 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Everett Street.

10:12 p.m. – A Harrington Avenue resident reported a white truck crashed across the street from her home. As a result of the police response, Thomas Zephir Trudeau, 24, of 37 Hibbert St., Apt. 1, Lexington, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop/yield and speeding.

11:56 p.m. – An Old Bedford Road resident reported a pickup was running with its lights on at the Rotundo farmstand on Bedford Street. The vehicle, which was registered to the farmstand’s owner, was parked in the field and unsecured with its parking lights on.
