The man who police said carjacked several vehicles and fired gunshots at pursuing cruisers during a wild chase through Middlesex County earlier this week said he was "really high."

Donald Hall pleaded not guilty to a host of charges. He appeared in court Friday.

"I was really high," Hall told CBS Boston as he walked out of court. "I have no idea what happened."

Monday's chase spanned about a half-dozen communities.

Police said the drama started in the morning when Hall stole a car in Heverhill, according to 7News. Police started chasing him after he ditched that vehicle in Newton and stole an Acura, according to reports. He then ditched that car in Billerica and carjacked a white Toyota Tundra truck—then ditched that vehicle for a Ford Flex sport utility vehicle in Concord. He allegedly drove through Hanscom Air Force Base, crashing into gates. He then crashed the Flex into a utility pole in Bedford, and officers arrested him.

Police said Hall exchanged gunfire with officers during the chase. No officers or bystanders were hurt.

Just say no Donnie, just say no. And then plead not guilty or no contest- even though there are a million witnesses.

Back again. Exactly WHAT were you on, Donnie? Cause that is SOME high, to be able to do all that stuff you "allegedly" did. All that energy, I could completely re-landscape my yard, add a wing on or two.
