Sunday, Nov. 4
12:53 p.m.- An anonymous caller reported the resident of the house on the corner of Curve Street and Labo Lane was burning leaves in their backyard. Police and fire officials were dispatched and spoke with the individual.
3:51 p.m.- A caller reported a vehicle had struck a deer near 35 Burlington Road. The responding officer reported there were no injuries.
3:55 p.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call from the State Police requesting help with a car fire on Route 3 South prior to exit 26. Responding officers reported there was no car fire, and that the vehicles engine had blown out. AAA was on their way.
5:56 p.m.- Police received a call reporting three vehicles that had been parked in the Bedford Farms parking lot for the past two days. The responding officer reported that upon his arrival the owner of the vehicles showed up to move them.
7:21 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a vehicle had struck a deer on Old Billerica Road. The owner had the vehicles towed, and the Department of Public Works was notified concerning the deer.
Mon, Nov. 5
4:20 a.m.- Police received a call from a resident of Buehler Road reporting a suspicious vehicle driving up the street stopping at each house along the way. The caller reported they had never seen the vehicle before. The responding officer checked the area and found the operator of the vehicle delivering newspapers on Springs Road.
11:20 a.m.- Police received a call reporting a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of Orchard Road. The responding officer reported he believed the car was overheated and that he would check back later.
11:21 a.m.- A resident of Garrison Drive reported a male had come to their door with a water bottle asking to fill it up. The individual said he was working at a house across the street, but that the house didn't have a hose. The responding officer located the workers at a nearby house.
12:46 p.m.- Police assisted a motorist who was locked out of their vehicle on Great Road.
12:57 p.m.- Police received multiple calls reporting a tractor trailer had run into a traffic signal at Great Road and South Road. The responding officer reported the vehicle was on Bedford Street just over the town line. DPW and the Lexington Police Department was notified.
2:54 p.m.- Police assisted a motorist on Roberts Drive unlock their vehicle.
5:19 p.m.- A caller reported a tree leaning on wires near 900 Middlesex Turnpike near the town line. The responding officer notified NSTAR.
5:41 p.m.- Police received a call from a motorist in the parking lot of Northside Convenience reporting a vehicle occupied by three females had circled her car ten times. The responding officer spoke with the operator of the vehicle and advised her to make better decisions.
