Police Investigated Multiple Reports of Bullying Against Former Concord-Carlisle Student

Police in Concord and Carlisle documented a dozen cases of vandalism or threats against former high school student Belle Hankey, according to a report in the Boston Globe.

This week, the former Concord-Carlisle High School student filed a $2 million federal civil rights lawsuit against the school, school officials and others for not responding to the reported bullying.

The bullying included death threats and vandalizing Hankey’s SUV.

The incidents lasted for 12 months staring in October 2012, and Concord Police said they spoke to a dozen students regarding a incident where Hankey’s car was keyed and Carlisle Police added extra patrols around Hankey’s home, according to the report.
