Police Log: The One With a Rock Through A Car Window at White Pond

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Nov. 27

9:31 a.m. – An Orchard Road resident reported her car was broken into while parked at White Pond. The woman claimed a rock was thrown through her window, and her purse and wallet taken.

10:02 a.m. – An abandoned 911 call came in from Barrett and Company on Walden Street. Police confirmed it was accidental.

10:26 a.m. – A Concord man reported someone opened up a credit account in his name at an Apple Store and charged $2,928.

11:35 a.m. – Police responded to a reported car alarm sounding at Holy Family. The alarm was silent, and police attempted to contact the vehicle’s registered owner.

5:18 p.m. – A Hawthorne Lane resident reported an unknown vehicle parked on the property about an hour earlier and requested that police check it out. The vehicle was reportedly gone on arrival.

6:34 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident in the area of Monument Square, which turned out to be an alleged hit-and-run accident involving a parked vehicle.

8:40 p.m. – Police responded to a report of an erratic operator weaving over the center line and nearly onto the shoulder of Route 126, heading into Concord from Lincoln. An officer stopped the vehicle on Walden Street and reported the driver checked OK, and said he was experiencing visibility problems due to the weather.
