Police Log: A Dog in Traffic, a Deer in the Yard

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Aug. 7

12:29 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking on a man he spotted sleeping on a bench by the West Concord Depot. The man, a Concord resident, was reportedly waiting for a train to Acton.

9:50 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle accident in the area of Sudbury and Heaths Bridge roads, a Clinton woman was cited for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

10:05 a.m. – A 911 call came in reporting a white dog running in and out of traffic on Thoreau Street.

1:55 p.m. – A Cranefield Road resident reported losing a set of car keys about a week ago.

3:51 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident by the Concord Municipal Light Plant entrance on Elm Street.

5:56 p.m. – A Concord man came into the station to report a possible identity theft.

6:06 p.m. – An Isaac Davis Road resident requested assistance with a young deer in her yard.

9:26 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a car alarm sounding at a Seven Star Lane residence where the homeowners were out of town. The responding officer reported both the vehicles in the driveway and the home itself checked secure.
