Police Log: A Handgun at the Hospital, Missing Property and More

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Oct. 4

2:26 a.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation on Heath’s Bridge Road. Officers contacted the homeowner, who said it was a septic alarm.

9:33 a.m. – An Annursnac Hill Road resident called to complain about a landscaping truck parked on Barretts Mill Road, by Lowell and Strawberry Hill roads. The responding officer reported no sidewalk obstructions in the area, and that the landscaper said he’d find a different place to park in the future.

11:25 a.m. – A Pope Road resident reported she was missing about $50,000 worth of jewelry. She also said the jewelry may have been lost in New Jersey in August, when she was there attending a wedding.

12:09 p.m. – Emerson Hospital reported a patient in the ER with a handgun in her possession, who was not threatening in any way and had a license to carry. The patient, who had an active license to carry, was discharged from the hospital.

6:48 p.m. – A 911 call came in from Laws Brook Road reporting an unknown man was harassing the caller and his wife at Rideout Field.

8:57 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a blue Lexus sedan driving erratically on Route 2 west by Crosby’s Corner, tailgating other vehicles and flashing headlights to make them pull over to the right. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle in question.

9:13 p.m. – A woman walked into the station reporting missing person effects from an apartment on Laws Brook Road sometime Tuesday, Oct. 1.
