Police Log: A Platinum Necklace Lost, A Cyclist Struck by a Car

Saturday, Sept. 14
9:55 a.m. – Emerson Hospital requested police assistance with a patient causing a disturbance.
10:07 a.m. – Police responded to a complaint about illegal parking at Cousins Field, and made an announcement at the soccer game there that vehicles must be moved.

10:44 a.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reported on Route 2 at Old Road to Nine Acre Corner. The vehicle was pushed into the driveway at Concord Healthcare.
12:19 p.m. – A Concord woman came into the station with an iPad she found on the side of the roadway by her home on Monument Street.

2:18 p.m. – A caller who refused to give a name complained about two vehicles parked on the sidewalk on Barretts Mill Road by Strawberry Hill Road.
2:47 p.m. – Lincoln Police advised of a white Cherokee travelling westbound on Route 117 in Lincoln, tailgating and passing over the double yellow lines heading into Concord.
4:17 p.m. – Police responded to a report of motor bikes entering conservation land near Dover Street.
7:23 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a possibly armed man at a Bank of America ATM on Commonwealth Ave in West Concord. The responding officer confirmed the man was armed security working for Bank of America, and would be remaining in the area overnight.
9:15 p.m. – A Bartlett Hill Road resident reported past erratic operation of a motor vehicle heading outbound on Monument Street.
11:01 p.m. – A Main Street resident reported suspicious activity involving a red van parked in the commuter parking area by Cottage Lane. The responding officer reported the vehicle belonged to a MBTA employee monitoring the tracks overnight.
Sunday, Sept. 15
6:49 a.m. – Multiple calls came in from Bruce Road reporting a loud power outage in the area. The responding officer reported a fuse was blown on a pole at the corner of Bruce and Fairhaven roads.
9:01 a.m. – An Old Marlboro Road resident reported an injured owl on her property.
11:11 a.m. – A 911 call came in reporting a cyclist struck by a motor vehicle on Sudbury Road. The cyclist was transported to Emerson Hospital.
12:45 p.m. – An Elm Street resident reported losing a platinum necklace with a single diamond while walking around Concord the previous day.
2:21 p.m. – A Lexington Road resident reported a German Shepherd dog running in and out of the roadway near the Hawthorne Inn.
10:09 p.m. – Police responded to a reported disabled motor vehicle on Route 2 east at Crosby’s Corner in the travel lane.
