Police Log: A Stolen Delivery, a Domestic and Animal Calls

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Feb. 20

4:01 a.m. – A 911 call came in from Newbury Court in which a resident was reporting she did not have an emergency and was attempting to contact Citizens Bank.

8:15 a.m. – A Deacon Haynes Road resident called 911 to request assistance with an unknown type of animal at her home. The animal control officer was notified to follow up.

9:51 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a sick raccoon on Woodland Road, but the responding officer was unable to locate the animal.

12:48 p.m. – Stanley Security reported a burglary alarm activation on Caterina Heights. The house checked OK, according to the incident report.

1:26 p.m. – A Cottage Street resident reported a past incident in which UPS delivered packages, which were then stolen from the porch of the house.

2:05 p.m. – Police responded to a report of 10 feet of copper tubing taken from the back of a pickup truck parked on Monument Square.

5:42 p.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reported in the area of Whittemore Street and Sudbury Road. A AAA tow responded to the scene.

7:48 p.m. – Police responded to a reported verbal domestic in progress at a Deer Grass Lane residence. As a result of the incident, a Concord woman was summonsed for assault to intimidate and simple assault and battery.
