Police Log: A Wrong-Way Driver and 7-Eleven Squatter

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Sept. 8

10:09 a.m. – A motorist reported that, earlier in the day, he noticed bicyclists running the Stop sign at Lowell and Barrett’s Mill roads.

10:18 a.m. – A caller from Concord Mobil reported a car was parked in the lot for about two days. The responding officer reported it was a disabled motor vehicle to be removed later in the day.

10:32 a.m. – While out on another call, an officer reported being given a lost credit card reportedly belonging to a Concord resident.

11:39 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Concord Turnpike and Fairhaven Road, a Leominster resident was cited for no inspection sticker and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked/suspended registration.

12:11 p.m. – A man came into the station to report losing his cell phone somewhere on Main Street.

1:11 p.m. – A 911 caller reported his vehicle was struck while parked at the Concord Rod and Gun Club on Strawberry Hill Road.

1:40 p.m. – A Concord man walked into the station to report an altercation he had with a bicyclist in Monument Square earlier in the day in which the biker cut in front of him and stood on his driver’s side screaming that the motorist cut him off. The man did not want to speak with an officer, but just to have his complaint logged.

9:25 p.m. – State Police called to report a vehicle travelling on Route 2 westbound in the eastbound lane in the area of Crosby’s Corner.

9:55 p.m. – A 911 call came in from Indian Pipe Lane in which the caller reported she heard an interior door open. The interior checked secure.

11:06 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 2 east at Sudbury Road, Michael B. House, Jr. 22, of 271 Hill Road, Groton, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, failure to stop/yield and open container violation.

Sunday, Sept. 9

12:34 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 2 west in the area of Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Jeffrey T. MacDonald, 46, of 20 Pingry Way, Ayer, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor and marked lanes violation.

1:49 a.m. – A 911 caller from the Seven-Eleven on Main Street in West Concord reported a possibly homeless man was camped out outside the establishment for the past few hours.

8:14 a.m. – A Concord woman reported finding a camera and camera stand outside the CCHS turf fields.

11:04 a.m. – A 911 caller reported a wire down across the roadway on Annursnac Hill Road.

8:21 a.m. – A 911 caller reported hearing four loud pops in the area of her home on Silver Hill Road.

8:55 p.m. – A Carlisle man walked into the station with a credit car he found at the intersection of Lowell and Keyes roads.
