Police Log: Accident Leads to OUI Charge, Alleged Larceny and More
The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Wednesday, Dec. 11
7:06 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Main and Walden streets, a Concord man received a verbal warning for registration violation.
9:26 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Route 117 and Sudbury Road.

11:50 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Main Street and Baker Avenue. An ambulance was called to the scene for a female complaining of lower back pain; a motor vehicle was removed and a driver was issued a citation for an unspecified motor vehicle violation.
1:14 p.m. – A parking complaint came in reporting illegal parking at Emerson Hospital by the main entrance. The responding officer ticketed the offending vehicle for a Fire Lane violation.

1:27 p.m. – Police responded to a reported larceny at the Nine Acre Convenience Store on Sudbury Road.
2:05 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Main Street and Macarthur Road, a Douglas man was cited for operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
2:45 p.m. – Police responded to a reported traffic complaint in which a motor vehicle, which had been reportedly operating erratically on Route 2, took a right onto Walden Street.
2:57 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crashed into a tree on Sudbury Road. As a result, Ryan Henry Sweeney, of 18 Main St., Woburn, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, operating under the influence of drugs, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation.
5:03 p.m. – Emerson Hospital security requested assistance with a minor motor vehicle collision by the main entrance.
7:49 p.m. – A Conant Street resident reported a possible credit card fraud.
8:11 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 2 and Walden Street, a Cambridge man received a verbal warning for speeding.
10:21 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop at Union Turnpike at the Acton line, a Newton man was summonsed for speeding and operating a motor vehicle with his license suspended.
