Police Log: Accidents and Windows Shot by BBs

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Jan. 2

8:30 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of a business on Baker Avenue Extension, in which a man claimed his vehicle was struck by another car, which left the area after its driver left a note.

8:38 a.m. – Police responded to a report of vandalism on Jennie Dugan Road, where a home had three windows damaged overnight, possibly by a BB.

8:58 a.m. – A Highway Division employee called requesting a vehicle be moved from its parking spot on Main Street for snow removal.

10:11 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Thoreau Street and Sudbury Road, a Carlisle man received a verbal warning for illegal lefthand turn.

11:38 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of the Concord Museum on Lexington Road, a Weymouth man received a written warning for a stop sign violation.

5:45 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Crosby’s Market on Sudbury Road, a Dorchester man was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle with his license suspended/revoked and uninsured motor vehicle.

10:13 p.m. – Police responded to a 911 call reporting a motor vehicle off the roadway in the area of Old Marlboro and Old Pickard roads.
