Police Log: Accidents, Erratic Operation and More Motor Vehicle Issues

Friday, Sept. 20
6:35 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in which a parking meter and sign were damaged on Walden Street.
10:49 a.m. – Multiple calls came in reporting railroad gates malfunctioning at the crossing on Sudbury Road.

11:54 a.m. – Police responded to a reported alarm activation on Wright Farm, which had been triggered accidentally by a contractor there.
1:10 p.m. – North East Correctional Center reported finding a ladies purse in the area of the Concord Rotary on Route 2.

1:46 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Main Street and Pond Lane.
3 p.m. – A traffic complaint came in reporting a blue Audi turning around on Laurel Street and driving onto a property there.
5:35 p.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reported in the area of Lexington Road and Shadyside Avenue.
5:55 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the Walden Pond parking lot on Walden Street. One motorist was cited.
6:28 p.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reported on Route 2 by Baker Avenue Extension.
