Police Log: Accidents, Identity Theft and Road Raging in a Minivan

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Jan. 28

4:40 a.m. – A 911 caller reported accidentally cutting off a silver minivan exiting the Dunkin’ Donuts on Main Street in West Concord, and said the minivan was now driving aggressively behind him. The caller also said that when he pulled over, a man exited the minivan and began heading toward his vehicle.

4:53 a.m. – A 911 caller reported a deer ran into the side of her motor vehicle on Lexington Road and may still be in the area, injured. An officer located the deer and put it down in the field across from the farm on Lexington Road.

9 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Laws Brook Road, a Concord woman was issued a citation for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

11:42 a.m. – Police responded to multiple calls reporting a motor vehicle accident on Main Street in West Concord. The responding officer requested three wreckers and an ambulance to the scene; two more ambulances later responded to the scene as well. All three vehicles involved were removed from the scene.

1:53 p.m. – A Concord resident came into the station to report a possible case of identity theft.

3:51 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident at West and Main streets.

6:19 p.m. – A call came in from Nathan Pratt Drive reporting that, while he and his wife were travelling home a plow truck struck their vehicle and kept driving. The man described the involved vehicle as a yellow truck, possibly a front-end loader. However, that description did not match any vehicles Concord or Acton had on the road that night, the incident report said.

9:12 p.m. – A Highway Department employee reported two suspicious males outside the Town House. Police responded to the scene, but the men were gone on arrival.
