Police Log: Accidents, Parking Complaints and Internet Fraud

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Sept. 13

12:43 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Sudbury Road by Route 117, a Maynard man was cited for number plate violation to conceal ID.

5:23 a.m. – A 911 call came in from Concord Park reporting the traffic signal was not cycling correctly at Cottage and Main streets, causing motorists to run at the same time. Police were able to reset the lights.

8:59 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident at Main Street and Keyes Road.

9:22 a.m. – A parking complaint came in reporting and issue on Highland Street. The responding officer issued one parking citation.

10:57 a.m. – A Concord man came into the station with a restraining order, which police faxed over to a New York county sheriff’s office to serve to the defendant.

12:09 p.m. – A constable came into the station to advise he would be serving an eviction notice on Nathan Pratt Drive.

4:29 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident that occurred earlier in the day on Main Street.

4:32 p.m. – Police responded to a report of past Internet fraud and alleged hacking of a Lexington Road resident’s computer accounts.

5:51 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Thoreau Street and Sudbury Road.

6:20 p.m. – A Crabtree Road resident reported possible gunshots in the area. Police reported nothing found.

9:18 p.m. – Emerson Hospital called to report an older woman walked away from the ER’s waiting area. The responding officer located the patient, who was outside of the emergency department entrance having a cigarette in the company of a hospital employee.
