Police Log: Accidents, Traffic Complaints and More

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Sept. 18

6:08 a.m. – A 911 call came in from a Powder Mill Road resident who reported finding a spare hidden key in the rear door as he left his home. The responding officer reported the man’s daughter had used the spare to enter their home the previous day.

6:26 a.m. – A New Hampshire man called 911 to report his vehicle was struck by a dark-colored SUV on Route 2 west as he was turning onto Main Street. The other motorist called later to report striking the motorcycle.

8:08 a.m. – Police responded to a report of workers blocking the roadway at Conant Street and the railroad crossing.

10:58 a.m. – A Carlisle woman walked into the station with Yellow Lab she found on Monument Street.

 2:54 p.m. – Police responded to a reported traffic complaint regarding crosswalk violations at Monument Square and Bedford Street.

4:35 p.m. – A 911 hang-up came in from the John Cummings Building at Emerson Hospital. Hospital security checked the office, and no issues were found.

4:48 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Elm Street. All four vehicles involved pulled into the Papa Razzi parking lot.
