Police Log: Aggressive Driving, a Man Charged for an Alleged Domestic

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Jan. 22

5:01 a.m. – The Highway Division called to request two vehicles be issued violations for parking overnight on Shore Drive.

8:58 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a an aggressive driver illegally passing motorists on the wrong side of the road in the area of Thoreau Street and Sudbury Road.

9:06 a.m. – A manager from Cumberland Farms walked into the station to turn in a man’s wallet that was left at the store a few weeks earlier.

10:23 a.m. – As result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Main Street and Florio Drive, a Concord woman received a written warning for a Stop sign violation.

12:52 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Main and Elm streets, a Concord man received a written warning for a stop sign violation.

2:24 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Main and Walden streets.

2:37 p.m. – A Concord woman walked into the station to report a past incidence of domestic abuse. As a result, a Concord man was summonsed for simple assault and battery.

3:16 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the parking lot at Crosby’s Market.

3:42 p.m. – A Bedford Street resident called 911 to report a motor vehicle accident in the area. As a result of the accident, one motorist was cited for an unspecified motor vehicle violation.

5:02 p.m. – Police responded to a reported of an illegally parked vehicle in the handicapped space in front of Concord-Carlisle High School.

9:43 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Barretts Mill Road, a Sudbury woman received a verbal warning for speeding.
