Police Log: Alleged Larcenies and Car Breaks Abound

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Nov. 25

1:46 a.m. – A 911 call came in from a Commerford Road resident requesting a premises check as he believed someone may have just been inside of his home. The responding officer checked the premises with both homeowners, but the resident did not want the interior checked.

2:01 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report the traffic light at Route 2 and Baker Avenue had its lights flashing in all four directions. MassHighway was notified to reset the signals.

8:38 a.m. – A Peter Spring Road resident called to report a $200 snow plow cover was taken from his property sometime overnight.

9:08 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a $200 beach cruiser bicycle stolen from Concord Academy.

11:08 a.m. – A Rollingwood Lane resident called to report possible fraudulent activity on her bank account.

2:35 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a loose dog on Hubbard Street.

5:53 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of the Nuclear Metals Superfund Site on Main Street in West Concord.

6:17 p.m. – Several calls came in reporting a motor vehicle accident on Main Street.

6:31 p.m. – Police responded to a report of an intoxicated man in the area of Grant Street, who allegedly yelled at a motorist to slow down and took a swing at the driver when he opened the window. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the man in question.

10:48 p.m. – A Concord Greene resident called 911 to report someone banging on the window.

Tuesday, Nov. 26

12 a.m. – A Prescott Road resident reported an unfamiliar dark-colored SUV was parked across the street from his residence for the past half-hour. The responding officer reported the motorist was a local resident using his cell phone.

7:20 a.m. – A Bedford Street resident reported his motor vehicle was broken into overnight.

8:54 a.m. and 8:56 a.m. – Partridge Lane residents at different addresses reported their vehicles were broken into overnight, with a wallet taken from one and a purse from another.

9:24 a.m. – A Lindsay Pond Road resident called 911 to report she believed her home was broken into sometime the previous day.

9:27 a.m. – A Partridge Lane resident reported her vehicle was broken into the previous night and her computer was missing.

9:31 a.m. – A caller from the Ripley School reported a bus driver damaged a fence on Ridge Road and left the scene after leaving a note.

12:39 p.m. – A Birch Drive resident reported his car was broken into through the passenger window, and cash was taken.

12:41 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Main Street and Knox Trail Road.

7:03 p.m. – An Indian Pipe Lane resident called to complain about a tree service trailer parked in front of her house.
