Police Log: Alleged Shoplifting, an Inured Deer and More

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Nov. 22

7:40 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident by Concord-Carlisle High School on Walden Street.

3:12 p.m. – A 911 call came in reporting a motor vehicle accident on Walden Street, where a truck reportedly backed up and struck a parked vehicle.

3:56 p.m. – Police responded to a report of possible shoplifting at the Nesting on Main. The caller reported about $250 in merchandise discovered missing.

4:51 p.m. – Multiple calls came in reporting a possibly injured deer on Elm Street by the Acton town line. The responding officer reported the deer ran back into the woods and out of sight.

6:21 p.m. – An officer radioed in to report vandalism to a stop sight at Harrington Avenue and Ministerial Drive. The officer reported the sign was spray painted with black spray paint.

6:43 p.m. – A parking complaint came in reporting vehicle had been parked on the street by Border Road since the previous evening.

8:03 p.m. – A Fairhaven Hill Road resident reported that she believed her ex-husband entered her home while she was out.
