Police Log: Alleged Theft and an Unwanted Customer
The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Friday, Jan. 4
5:27 a.m. – A Monument Street resident came into the station reporting striking a deer with his motor vehicle near his home. An officer checked the area, but did not locate the deer.
10:32 a.m. – Police responded to a reported theft at Newbury Court.

10:47 a.m. – A Bedford woman came into the station to report being involved in a motor vehicle accident with a car parked on Lexington Road. Police located the other vehicle, but not its owner, and issued a parking ticket because the car was blocking most of the lane.
2:11 p.m. – A Concord man reported a past problem with a moving company, which moved him from Old Marlboro Road to Wright Farm Road.

2:32 p.m. – Police responded to a reported parking violation in which a vehicle was parked in a handicapped spot at the Fowler Branch Library.
3:14 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Elm Street by the rotary, a Carlisle man was summonsed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle and no inspection sticker.
6:22 p.m. – A Concord Provisions employee requested to speak with an officer about banning a customer from the store due to suspected shoplifting activity.
11:33 p.m. – An officer witnessed a vehicle leaving Concord-Carlisle High School but was unable to track it once it got on Route 2. The vehicle checked out as belonging to a school department employee.
