Police Log: Alleged Vehicular Vandalism and an Internet Scare

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Oct. 6

1:13 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking on an unoccupied vehicle in the rear of Nine Acre Convenience off Sudbury Road.

7:08 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Main Street and Baker Avenue, a Waltham man was summonsed for operating after his license was suspended.

1:20 p.m. – A Greenfield Lane resident called to report she accidentally provided some personal information over the Internet. The responding officer reported no accounts appeared to have been compromised at that time.

1:33 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Commonwealth Avenue, A Westford man received a citation for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and expired inspection sticker.

3:09 p.m. – A passerby radioed in a dog in a vehicle with the windows up on Walden Street.

3:30 p.m. – A Concord Greene resident came into the station to report past vandalism to his motor vehicle.

7:47 p.m. – A Monument Street resident reported a flatbed wrecker had been parked at the corner of Monument Street and Balls Hill Road for about 20 minutes. The responding officer reported the vehicle was gone on arrival.

8:14 p.m. – Multiple calls came in reporting fireworks in the Monument Street Area. The responding officer reported the fireworks appeared to have been coming from out of town.

11:21 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Sudbury and Fairhaven roads, a Waltham man received a summons for operating after his license was suspended.
