Police Log: An Assault Arrest, a Suspicious Skateboarder and More

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 Saturday, Sept. 21

12:48 a.m. – A Ridge Wood Road resident reported a disturbance involving a loud noise from a party somewhere in the area of Hayward Mill Road.

8:23 a.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reported on Route 2 west, just east of Crosby’s Corner.

12:12 p.m. – An officer radioed in to report finding a set of Ford and Lexus keys in the area of Route 2 and Sudbury Road.

1:58 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a brown Ford Explorer weaving on the roadway along Lowell Road by Barrett’s Mill Road. The responding officer reported the motorist was an older man who was confused and heading in the wrong direction.

2:32 p.m. – A call came in from Walden Rehab requesting assistance with a man who was discharged the previous day and refused to leave the facility.

2:42 p.m. – Police responded to a 911 call reporting from a verbal altercation on Comm Ave.

2:57 p.m. – A Pine Street resident reported illegal dumping of auto parts by the Assabet River off Pine Street. The responding officer reported it appeared the items were from a recent river cleanup.

9:51 p.m. – A fireworks complaint came in from Florio Drive. Police checked the area, but all was quiet at the time.

10:20 p.m. – An Elsinore Street resident reported loud noises in the area.

10:39 p.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic on White Avenue. As a result, Armand John Porrazzo, of 63 White Ave., Concord, was arrested and charged with simple assault and battery.

Sunday, Sept. 22

10:14 a.m. – Police responded to a report of vehicles not stopping at the Stop sign at Lowell and Barretts Mill roads.

4:38 p.m. – A woman came into the station to drop off a black Vera Bradley wallet she found in front of the Rotary Gulf gas station. Officers contacted the purse’s owner to come and pick it up.

6:42 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a possibly intoxicated man driving a black Mercedes on Route 62 by the Concord-Acton line. Officers were unable to locate the motor vehicle.

7:54 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a skateboarder with a flashlight traveling against traffic on Sudbury Road by Old Road to Nine Acre Corner. Officers checked the area, but he was gone on arrival.

10:52 p.m. – Emerson security reported a man threatening to hit people in the hospital’s triage center.
