Police Log: An Explosion, Storm Damage and a Missing Dog
The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Tuesday, Oct. 30
12:59 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report limbs down in the roadway by Main Street and Old Stow Road in West Concord.
1:30 a.m. – A 911 call came in from Bedford Street reporting explosions and loss of power in the area of the Water Treatment Plant.

3:34 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report locating a vehicle that was missing one tire parked at Nathan Pratt Drive.
8:06 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a power line down across the roadway on Upland Road.

12:56 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a power line down in the middle of the roadway in the area of Heaths Bridge and The Valley roads.
2:12 p.m. – A Concord woman called in to report a construction vehicle parked on the sidewalk on Lowell Road. The responding officer reported it was a construction crew working on a new home, and they were advised of the complaint and would move the vehicle.
4:24 p.m. – A Monument Street resident reported a King Charles Spaniel went missing from the residence within the past two hours.
5:14 p.m. – An employee from Orchard House brought in a purple backpack that a patron left behind. The bag’s owner had already been contacted to retrieve her belongings from the police station.
6:34 p.m. – A 911 call came in from the Heritage Club, with heavy static on the other end. The callback had no answer and a check of the property showed construction there, but no one in the area and the only phone secured.
9:14 p.m. – A Hayward Mill Road resident reported minor damage to his mailbox.
