Saturday, Dec. 29
3:15 a.m. – An officer on patrol checked on a man walking in the area of Thoreau Street and Sudbury Road. He turned out to be a resident of Belknap Street and checked out OK.
5:27 a.m. – A passing motorist reported suspicious activity involving a sedan parked the wrong way on Main Street outbound near Brown Street, in which a man was possibly drinking from an open container that looked like a wine bottle. Police checked the area and did not locate the vehicle, but noted newspaper delivery had just taken place in the area.
11:53 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Concord Turnpike and Walden Street, Michael Richard Blake, 38, of 154 Great Road, Apt. 11, Shirley, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with his license suspended.
5:09 p.m. – A woman called from Deaconess Road to report her father’s wedding ring and other items were possibly missing.
5:47 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Old Marlboro Road and Old Bridge Road.
7:33 p.m. – A 911 call came in reporting a two-car collision without injuries by the 99 Restaurant on Commonwealth Avenue in West Concord.
8:43 p.m. – A 911 caller reported a one-car accident on Main Street by Old Road to Nine Acre Corner in which a vehicle struck a curb.
10:33 p.m. – A Harrington Avenue resident called 911 to report hearing two loud bangs that sounded like gun shots. Police checked the area and found nothing out of the ordinary.
Sunday, Dec. 30
9:02 a.m. – A Lexington Road resident reported her snow shovel was missing from her front porch and said that, when she followed the foot prints, she found an iPod that may belong to the person who took her shovel.
11:48 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a man in a black jeep driving aggressively on Bypass Road.
2:04 p.m. – A woman reported finding a cell phone while walking on Squaw Sachem Trail.
2:58 p.m. – An employee from the Route 2 Mobil reported a man in a black Cadillac was sitting outside, and his boss had told him to call police if he showed up. Police arrived on the scene and the man in question left without incident after being informed he was no longer welcome on the property.
6:34 p.m. – AAA called to report a motor vehicle accident at Whit’s End road in which a vehicle struck a pole.
7:37 p.m. – Multiple calls came in reporting several horses loose near Lowell Road. The responding officer reported the horses were under control and appeared to belong at a Barnes Hill Road residence. Unable to contact the residents, neighbors took control of the animals and were returning to the property. One of the horses reportedly ran into a vehicle while they were on the loose.
