Police Log: An OUI and a Guy Cited for Texting While Driving

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Sept. 7

2:35 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Sudbury Road by Whittemore Street, Ariana S. Rosenfeld, of 69 Concord Road, Acton, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and marked lanes violation.

4:09 a.m. – An officer on patrol radioed into report checking on a vehicle occupied by multiple people parked behind the West concord 5 and 10. The officer reported they checked OK, but were sent on their way.

5:59 a.m. – Emerson Hospital security called to request assistance with an out-of-control and combative construction worker. The responding officer reported the man was under control and escorted out of the building.

9:06 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Main Street and Florio Drive, a Rhode Island man was cited for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop/yield.

9:39 a.m. – A 911 call came in from Emerson Hospital reporting an out-of-control man there was throwing objects around, hitting windows. Order was restored after the man was medicated and moved to a secure location, according to the incident report.

2:10 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop by the Dunkin Donuts on Route 2, a Marlborough man was cited for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation and texting while operating a motor vehicle.

5:01 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a passenger holding an infant in the backseat of a motor vehicle driving on Route 2 west past Old Road to Nine Acre Corner.

9:44 p.m. – A 911 call came in from Crosby’s Mobil after a customer reported spotting a man outside a motor vehicle who appeared to be intoxicated and stumbling as he walked. Police checked the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
