Police Log: Car Break Leads to Warrant Arrest, Graffiti on a Fence

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, July 8

12:48 a.m. – A Warner Street resident reported being woken up by the sound of someone entering his neighbor’s vehicle. The caller said the man, described as being bald or short-haired, left toward Laws Brook Road. The responding officers reported $20 was taken from the vehicle. During the search, Jamie-Lee Boulger, of 47 Warner St., Concord, was arrested on four default warrants from other departments.

1:44 a.m. – A 911 caller from Keyes Road reported hearing voices in the nearby municipal lot. Police checked the area, but nothing was found.

7:36 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Main and Thoreau streets. As a result, a Concord man was cited for failure to obey a traffic signal.

8:30 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Main and Water streets, Paul S. Lagrassa, of 360 Hudson Road, Sudbury, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of drugs, second offense.

8:40 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Main Street and Old Road to Nine Acre Corner. A female involved was transported to Emerson Hospital with face injuries.

11:31 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Walden and Magnolia streets, an Ayer man was cited for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

2:06 p.m. – An employee from La Provence on Thoreau Street reported a possibly intoxicated man stumbling around and looking disoriented. As a result, an Everett man was taken into protective custody.

4:07 p.m. – A manager from Pet Source on Main Street reported about $700 was taken from the cash drawer sometime over the weekend.

4:29 p.m. – Police responded to a report of the past larceny of an unsecured bicycle from the Hunt’s Gym on Stow Street, which occurred sometime during the day.

9:42 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a suspicious white Toyota with two or three occupants parked on Hayward Mill Road, by Hillcrest. The subjects checked OK and were sent on their way, according to the incident report.

Tuesday, July 9

8:47 a.m. – An Emerson Hospital employee called to report $45 was stolen from her pocketbook while she worked in the lab the previous evening.

11:03 a.m. – A Light Plant employee requested a Caterina Heights home be checked for suspicious activity after noticing a large amount of mail in the mailbox. Responders made contact with the homeowners, and there were no problems found.

4:58 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Route 2A at the town line.

7:47 p.m. – Police responded to a report of five teenagers spray painting the fence in the parking lot behind Walden Liquors. The responding officers located a small amount of graffiti in the area, but were unable to locate the teens.

9:55 p.m. – A call came in complaining about a dog barking on Orchard Road.
