Police Log: Coyote Spotted, Cash Found and a Domestic Arrest

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, July 6

1:56 a.m. – A Shore Drive resident reported a group of people on the White Pond beach. The responding officer located three youths and three visitors from Denmark at the scene. All of them were sent on their way.

8 a.m. – A Williams Road resident reported a past domestic with her boyfriend, which allegedly occurred the previous night in the car in which he reportedly elbowed her, grabbed her hair and smashed her head into the windshield while driving back to her apartment. As a result, Richard Paul Buccacio, 24, of 26 Cavanaugh Path, Newton, was arrested and charged with simple assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, intimidating a witness, threatening to commit a crime and two counts of malicious destruction of property under $250.

8:31 a.m. – Police responded to Emerson Hospital’s emergency room where a male patient was reportedly causing a disturbance.

1:49 p.m. – An Elsinore Street resident reported his black specialist bicycle was lost/missing and was last seen behind Helen’s Restaurant on Main Street the previous night.

 4:37 p.m. – A Concord man walked into the station to turn in some keys he found at on the stone wall around the burial site by the Visitor Center downtown.

5:57 p.m. – Police responded to a report of an injured goose near the entrance of the Great Meadows Wildlife Refuge on Monsen Road.

6:19 p.m. – A Stone Root Lane resident reported spotting a coyote in her yard.

7:19 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 2 by Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, a Lowell woman was cited for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended/revoked registration, operating with a suspended license and uninsured motor vehicle.

8:57 p.m. – A Concord man came into the station with four $20 bills the person in front of him at the Thoreau Street Bank of America reportedly found in the dispensary and didn’t know what to do with. The cash was entered into property.
