Police Log: Crash and Dash Leads to OUI Arrest

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, July 30

12:28 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident with a car off the roadway on Cambridge Turnpike, where the driver reportedly ran off down Bypass Road toward Lincoln. Officers from Concord, Lincoln and the State Police searched the area, and eventually found the driver in a nearby church parking lot. Brad J. Tedeschi, 37, of 56108 Carousel Lane, Lunenberg, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation and operating under the influence of liquor.

7:57 a.m. – An Acton woman reported a man in a red Dodge pickup “honked his horn for 10 minutes” and then cut in front of her on Route 2 eastbound, by the Rotary. Police were unable to locate the vehicle in question.

9:55 a.m. – A Nathan Pratt Drive resident called to complain about a problem with her neighbor. The caller claimed that she could hear her neighbors talking about a baby at 4 a.m., and she believed they were talking about her.

11:16 a.m. – As a result of a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Sudbury Road and Whittemore Street, a Tyngsboro resident was cited for operating a motor vehicle with his license revoked.

3:53 p.m. – An Old Marlboro Road resident reported two cell phones were charged to her Sprint account and shipped to an address in Lawrence.

6:44 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a loose dog running in the roadway in the area of Sudbury Road and Academy Lane.

9:48 p.m. – A Peter Bulkeley Road resident reported a dog has been outside and barking for the past 30 minutes.
