Police Log: Drug Offenses, Suspicious Activity and More

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Dec. 20

1:07 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking on a subject walking on Commonwealth Avenue, wearing all black and carrying a backpack. The man in question was an area resident, who checked OK.

1:38 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking on a vehicle parked behind Valley Sports on Main Street. The responding officer reported the guy in the car was seeking a place to sleep for the night, and was sent on his way.

7:11 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a light signal stuck on red at Main Street and Comm Ave.

9:44 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Elm Street, an Acton man was cited for possession of marijuana, and his passenger, also of Acton, was cited for possession of a Class C substance.

2:20 p.m. – Two abandoned 911 calls came in from Superior Laundry and Dry Clearners on Sudbury Road. A worker on the premises reported a suspicious man came into the store about three hours earlier.

4:19 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident, which occurred at 1 p.m. at Main and Derby streets, but wasn’t reported until a Concord woman walked into the station three hours later.

6:07 p.m. – A Walden Terrace resident reported receiving a phone call asking for bank information.

6:19 p.m. – A 911 call came in reporting an erratic motor vehicle heading into town from North Great road in Lincoln. Police checked the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle in question.

9:19 p.m. – Police responded to a reported disabled motor vehicle in the area of Lowell Road and Liberty Street.
