Police Log: ER Incidents and More Calls from White Pond

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, July 22

6:43 a.m. – An Emerson Hospital shuttle driver reported suspicious activity in a tan Toyota sedan parked in the back lot of Concord Healthcare/Emerson Hospital on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, which has been loitering there for the past month. The responding officer reported the vehicle’s occupant was an employee, who arrives early and naps before work.

7:03 a.m. – A Nathan Pratt Drive resident reported a past hit-and-run accident involving a parked car in the lot.

8:30 a.m. – A Monument Farm Road resident called to complain about a young female in a gray Nissan speeding inbound on Monument Street while talking on a cell phone. Police checked the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

12:47 p.m. – A White Ave resident called requesting to speak with the animal control officer about a dog complaint.

6:43 p.m. – An employee from Emerson Hospital’s ER reported two young females assaulted out of state.

7:01 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Old Road to Nine Acre Corner and Old Marlboro Road.

8:45 p.m. – A Shore Drive resident called to complain about a loud group at the White Pond Association Beach. The responding officer reported there was lifeguard training taking place, which will be held from 8 to 9 p.m. every Monday.

9:20 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a suspicious black Crown Vic driving slowly in the area of Musterfield and Simon Willard roads the previous day. The caller claimed he spoke with the driver, who became upset and then left the area.

10:41 p.m. – A call came in reporting a large, possibly dead, animal in the roadway on Route 2. The responding officers reported the animal was a dead beaver, and it was not a hazard.

Tuesday, July 23

1:01 a.m. – Police responded to a report of loud music and loud voices causing a disturbance on Riverdale Road. Police spoke with the residents, who were hosting a gathering, and advised them of the complaint.

10:17 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in a Thoreau Street parking lot.

10:42 a.m. – A Watertown man walked into the station to report his motor vehicle was struck while parked at Concord District Court.

12:25 p.m. – A Monsen Road resident reported a suspicious motor vehicle pulled into her driveway, and an older man exited his vehicle and looked inside her garage. The responding officer reported the home checked secure and the vehicle was gone on arrival.

4:02 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Route 2 and Walden Street.

8:42 p.m. – A Colorado resident requested a well-being check on his elderly mother who lives at Everett Gardens. Police spoke with the woman, and requested that she get in touch with her son.

11:23 p.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reported on Barretts Mill Road, by College Road.

11:55 p.m. – Police responded to a reported disabled motor vehicle on Route 2 east, by Main Street.
