Police Log: Erratic Operators, a Deer Hit by a Car and a Purse Stolen
The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Thursday, Nov. 15
6:58 a.m. – A Simon Willard Road resident reported finding a brown and white Spaniel mix running around in the area.
7:59 a.m. – A parking complaint came in reporting vehicles parked on both sides of Laurel Street.

11:27 a.m. – A Lexington resident walked into the station to report their vehicle was struck while parked on Thoreau Street the previous day.
1:54 p.m. – Emerson Hospital requested assistance with a visitor who hospital staff believed was about to get out of hand. The man left without any additional problems.

2:07 p.m. – A New Hampshire woman reported her pocket book was stolen from Emerson Hospital.
2:27 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident in which a Concord man reportedly backed his car into another vehicle in the parking lot at Crosby’s.
4:49 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident and a bumper in the roadway in the area of Nine Acre Corner.
5:54 p.m. – A Carlisle man reported hitting a deer with his vehicle on Lexington Road. The animal reportedly ran off into the woods, and police requested a wrecker to the scene for a tow.
9:11 p.m. – A 911 call came in from a motorist reporting a white pickup was operating erratically on Lowell Road toward Monument Square. Police located and stopped the vehicle in the area of Lexington Road and Heywood Street. The driver was reportedly lost and unfamiliar with the area.
