Police Log: Flashing Lights, Accidents and Erratic Operators
The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Saturday, Jan. 4
12:59 a.m. – Police responded to a report of an outside flashing light on Lindsay Pond Road. The responding officer reported the cause was a homeowner removing snow from an outside light.
3:41 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking on a vehicle with its lights on at the Best Western on Elm Street.

9:33 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 2, a Wellesley man was cited for a red light violation.
10:18 a.m. – Police responded to a report of an unknown man sitting on a bench inside the Trinitarian Congregational Church. The responding officer reported the man was waiting for his children who were attending a function at the church.

11:37 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford Street and Old Bedford Road.
11:38 a.m. – A 911 call reported a motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford Street and Powers Road. As a result, one motorist was cited for failure to use care.
7:49 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a man acting suspiciously in Dunkin’ Donuts on Sudbury Road, and then leaving without incident.
9 p.m. – Police responded to a traffic complaint reporting an erratic operator in the area of Route 2 and Main Street.
11:17 p.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reported in the area of Concord Gas on Elm Street. The responding officer reported the motorist had a flat and was waiting for AAA.
