Police Log: July 18 - 19

Here's a look at what Concord Police handled on Wednesday, July 18 and Thursday, July 19.

were very busy last Wednesday and Thursday, arresting and summonsing individuals for several violations regarding driving standards and OUIs. There was also a funny report of foxes "charging people" on Baker Avenue.

Wednesday, July 18

7:43 a.m. Police investigated a report of vandalism and theft on Lang Street where a resident mentioned that basketball hoop had been broken and some basketballs may have been stolen.

10:54 a.m. A bad car accident had a tow truck come to Monument Square after a two-car accident. Although one of the cars was towed, no injuries were reported.

12:37 p.m. ARREST. Gilcele Nunes, 30, of Rosalind Road in Weymouth was arrested for a warrant charge of driving with a suspended license.

2:57 p.m. ARREST. At the on Sudbury Street, Matthew Walsh, 31, of 425 Beale St., Milton, was arrested for driving with a suspended license, a lights violation and having no inspection sticker.

5:46 p.m. A female Concord resident claimed she was being followed by an unknown, tattooed male. The resident claimed she was followed into parking lot, where the alleged offender watched her. Police arrived but the potential offender had already left the scene and the women could not identify his vehicle other than it was a Nissan or Toyota.

Thursday, July 19

2:16 a.m. ARREST. Taylor Ann Wilkinson, 22, of Worcester Road, Hubbardston, was arrested after being pulled over by police and failing a sobriety test. Wilkinson was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol.

8:42 a.m. There was a minor car crash police responded to on Main Street to over see the paper exchange. No injuries were reported.

9:41 a.m. Animal Control dealt with foxes "charging people" at on Baker Avenue.

12:00 p.m. A Lincoln woman will be summonsed to court for operating under the influence of a drug, wreckless endangerment, wreckless driver, marked lanes violations and leaving the scene of two accidents. The woman allegedly hit the back of a car, left the scene and very soon thereafter, swerved through the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot on near Nine Acre Corner proceeding towards Sudbury Street where she damaged two mailboxes and again left the scene before being pulled over around the nearby middle school by police after a series of 911 calls guided them to the offender.

12:56 p.m. Police oversaw another minor vehicle accident paper exchange on Commonwealth Avenue. There were no injuries reported.

6:43 p.m. A Leominster man was summoned to court for operating a vehicle with a suspended license. The man was pulled over on Elm Street.
