Police Log: Lost Dogs, Stolen Paddles, Alleged Threats and More

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Aug. 15

8:25 a.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation on Simon Willard Road, which was to determined to have been accidentally set off by contractors.

11:50 a.m. – A 911 hang-up came in from Newbury Court. Police confirmed it was accidental.

12:09 p.m. – A Concord Greene resident reported a man visiting one of his neighbors made some remarks to him that he felt were threatening.

4:46 p.m. – Police responded to a report of black-and-yellow kayak paddles stolen from outside of a Mitchell Road residence sometime overnight.

4:57 p.m. – A woman walked into the station to report observing a silver Chevy strike another vehicle at the Thoreau Depot before driving away from the scene.

5:09 p.m. – A Bristers Hill Road resident reported her Golden Retriever went missing sometime after noontime.

9:48 p.m. – A College Road resident reported a small notebook containing his Social Security and ATM cards was stolen while he gave tennis lessons at Emerson Field between 5 and 8 p.m. that evening.

 11:16 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a large gathering on Central Street, and spoke with residents there who agreed to go inside.
