Police Log: Man Arrested for A&B on a Police Officer After Emergency Room Altercation

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Nov. 1

7:12 a.m. – A Minnesota woman walked into the station to report her vehicle as gone from the Concord Depot area on Thoreau Street, where she had parked the car while visiting Boston the previous day. The vehicle was later located in the commuter lot off Belknap Street.

8:10 a.m. – A 911 hang-up came in from Thoreau School. It was confirmed as accidental, according to the incident report.

8:43 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a Main Street residence with its front door wide open and no one home. The responding officer reported the door left open due to apparent neglect.

9:52 a.m. – A Thoreau Street resident called to report items from a pocketbook were spread out over his yard. The items belonged to the victim of a nearby car-break, according to the incident report.

10:39 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a disturbance at the Concord District Court on Walden Street, where there was a dispute between Probation personnel and a Carlisle resident.

11:18 a.m. – Police responded to a report of two agitated people at Emerson Hospital. After speaking with both people involved, one of them will be charged with simple assault and battery, according to the incident report.

12:30 p.m. – As a result of an incident at Emerson Hospital, which included an alleged assault and battery on a police officer, Zachary Monty Rubenstein, of 12 Lee St., Wilmington, was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, simple assault and battery and a felony warrant from another department.

1:25 p.m. – Police responded to a reported past breaking-and-entering that allegedly occurred Sept. 5 on Jonas Brown Circle.

2 p.m. – Maynard Police relayed a report of a possibly intoxicated driver heading toward Concord on Route 62. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle in question.

6 p.m. – A man walked into the station with a walled found at Crosby’s Market, which reportedly contained $138 cash, a school ID and miscellaneous other cards.

8:40 p.m. – Multiple calls came in reporting a motor vehicle vs. deer accident on Sudbury Road.
