Police Log: Man Takes the Loud Way Home

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Oct. 31

1:54 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a man banging on doors of houses in the Grove Street neighborhood and screaming for people to open the door. The man lived at a Grove Street residence and gained entry to the house, according to the incident report.

7:08 a.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation at Concord Internal Medicine Associates on Main Street. It was confirmed as accidental by a plumber at that location.

9:02 a.m. – A passerby reported parked construction vehicles were making it difficult to maneuver around the corner at Cottage and Main streets.

12:22 p.m. – An accidental 911 call came in from Thoreau Street. It was confirmed as an accidental misdial.

1:03 p.m. – An abandoned 911 call came in from Emerson Hospital’s Baker Avenue offices. Police spoke with staff, and there were no issues found.

1:44 p.m. – A woman came into the station to report losing her purse in Concord Center.

5:38 p.m. – Police responded to a reported minor motor vehicle accident on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner.

10:38 p.m. – Police responded to a burglary alarm on Strawberry Hill Road. The home checked secure, according to the incident report.
